The NFRG ball-rail system is designed with corrosion-resistant steel, making it suitable for humid to wet environments. Available in five sizes, the system withstands relative humidity above 70% and temperatures above 30°C over an indefinite period.

The system’s plastic parts are resistant to weak acids, lyes, organic solvents, oils, and alcohols. The profiled rail can be mounted from the top using the clip-on stainless-steel cover strip for a smooth surface. Users can also cover the mounting holes with white caps, or mount the profiled rail from underneath. The ball runner blocks are not prelubricated so users can fill in the lubricant recommended for their specific applications. Lube ports with metal threads give engineers a greater degree of freedom when space is tight.

When combined with screens or other protective barriers, the system is suitable for splash areas and wet working zones in food processing, where liquid, moist, or sticky foods stick to machine parts, or which are wet-cleaned and disinfected. The ball runner blocks come in flange or narrow versions in accuracy class H and in three preload classes. The ball’s O configuration ensures the system has the required rigidity and load capacities in all four main loading directions.
