Version 4.3 of Comsol Multiphysics includes three new modules as well as adds features for mechanical, electrical, fluid, and chemical simulations. New modules include the Nonlinear Structural Materials Module, an addon for the Structural Mechanics and MEMS Modules, and a Pipe Flow Module for fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, hydraulic transients, and acoustics in pipe and channel networks. Also included is a Corrosion Module which allows simulating corrosion and corrosion protection based on electrochemical principles. New features in the software include those for mesh selections, which creates new boundaries and domains for imported meshes; fast meshing for imported CAD files; and new LiveLink products for CAD.
