Green Manufacturing Conference joins Pacific Design & Manufacturing

Jan. 10, 2008
Many of the world’s biggest manufacturers are adopting sustainable manufacturing on a company-wide basis.

The results can be measured in energy savings, reduced carbon emissions, better waste treatment, and a variety of clean technologies and products. Visitors to the Green Manufacturing Expo will see a range of methods and products for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and conserving energy and resources. These include solar and wind energy, CAD for sustainability, energy-management software, biocompostable and recyclable packaging, and energy-saving machinery.

The Green Manufacturing Conference, collocated with the Pacific Design & Manufacturing Show, will be held Jan. 29 to 31 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, Calif. Pacific Design highlights the latest advances in CAD and CAM, rapid prototyping, automation machinery, and various contract service providers.

Pacific Design & Manufacturing admission covers seven industry- related shows under one roof: Automation Technology Expo West, WestPack, Electronics West, Plastec West, Green Manufacturing Expo West, PTX West, and MD&M West. For details and registration, visit devicelink.com/expo/pdm08/.

For the first time, the Green Manufacturing Conference at the Pacific Design & Manufacturing show will introduce visitors to carbon-footprint reductions, design-for-manufacturing, lean and green, zero waste, green chemistry, and clean tech.
