The Series GD100 line of ground hollow dowels now offers a 6-mm OD version.

The Series GD100 line of ground hollow dowels now offers a 6-mm OD version. The hollow dowels are direct replacements for standard ground solid dowels per ISO 8734. The units are used where centerline tolerancing and precision alignment are required.

Features include precision-ground outside diameters that maintain critical alignment within 20 „m; a 1.6-„m surface finish and well-defined chamfers prevent shaving or scraping during installation; roll-formed design yields substantial cost savings over solid dowels; and being hollow offers weight savings over solid dowels and clearance for bolts, fluids, or gases. The dowels are made from lowcarbon steel with a plain-oil finish.
