New high-precision inline strain wave gearboxes have been added to the SureGear gearboxes from AutomationDirect
The strain wave technology offers advantages over planetary and helical gearboxes, such as much higher gear ratios, higher efficiency, lower heat and noise generation, and lifetime zero backlash. These SureGear strain wave gearboxes are designed to work with SureServo and SureStep motors. Strain wave gearboxes are available in ratios up to 200:1, as well as a large selection of output shaft diameters.
