The Ringcone (RXC) adjustable-speed mechanical drive is for specialized pumping applications, such as those involving progressive cavity pumps. The variable-speed drive uses a ring and cone power train and consists of an input disc, a set of planetary cones, a control ring, the cam disc, and a pressure- control cam. The unit provides a speed range of 0 to 800 rpm.

The RXC features increased low-speed torque, 5× starting torque, and a 2× overload capacity throughout its entire speed range. It is suited for rugged, trouble- free service in explosionproof, chemical processing, and washdown applications.
