The Solglide T and M families of bearings are free of perfluorooctanoic acid and heavy metals. The bearings contain noncorrosive, durable materials to provide sustainability-enhancing solutions for reducing operating and maintenance costs in concentrated solar plants.

Designed with fluoropolymer, the chemically resistant, self-lubricating bearings perform at temperatures between –200 and 260°C and exhibit no corrosion or loss of integrity under UV light, making them 100% weatherproof and maintenance-free.

Solglide T bearings are available with either steel or aluminium backings with PTFE-based compounds. When equipped with 1.5-mm-thick steel backings, the bearings offer good “entrance-area” performance, while the 3-mm-thick aluminum version provides an easy “drop-in” solution with good structure capability when paired with aluminum frames.

The Solglide M family come with 1.57-mm thick with all-stainless-steel backings for corrosion-resistance in applications in challenging environments.
