The SWTC3 Series thermal fuse features a 20-A rating at 120/250 Vac, making it suitable for use in motors, appliances, cooking and heating equipment, HVAC, lighting, automotive, commercial coffee equipment, hand dryers, and hot-water appliances.

The thermal cutoffs are designed to provide upper-limit temperature protection by functioning as safety devices to disconnect the current to the heating element in case of a malfunction.

The fuses provide continuous-duty thermal fuse rating and a 125/250-Vac 31.5-A interrupting current. Functioning temperature ranges are from 162 to 464°F with holding temperatures from 117 to 392°F.
