MDrive EtherNet/IP motion systems feature a motor, drive, and programmable I/O with standardized IP addressing, eliminating the need for complicated wiring and programming of traditional multi-drop systems with RS-485 communications.

The system has a configuration port for setting the IP address. A Windowsbased TCP/IP Configuration Utility sets parameters and assembly object mapping. Established protocol standards allow the networking of products from different manufacturers, without the need for special interfaces. As an adapter-class device, MDrive EtherNet/IP products are capable of explicit or implicit messaging.

Units include Hybrid Motion Technology, a hardware-based system that delivers smooth movement while eliminating unintentional stalling, saves energy and lowers heat.
