    SMT switching regulator The 1-A V78XX- 1000-SMT is a high-performance alternative to linear regulators with efficiencies up to 92%. The switching regulator features a 5 to 18-Vdc input range; 2.5, 3.3, 5, and 6-Vdc regulated output voltages; remote on/off control; short-circuit and overtemperature protection; and operating temperature range of –40 to 85°C.
