Mast Hoses

Thermoplastic hoses are made with high levels of contact strength between the layers of core, braid, and jacket.

Thermoplastic hoses are made with high levels of contact strength between the layers of core, braid, and jacket. A unique bonding process creates projections on the outside of the core that extend up into the braid, while the jacket material is forced down into the braid from the outside.

Parflex 53DM Duramax mast hose meets SAE 100R18 with a 3,000-psi constant working pressure and features a smaller OD. The Parflex 55LT hose meets SAE 100R7 specifications and Parflex Over-The-Sheave hoses are also available.

The 53DM, 55LT and H6 hoses are constructed with copolyester materials that allow for a –70°F low-temperature rating while maintaining great chemical compatibility with hydraulic fluids, making them suited for use in cold storage or refrigerated areas. The H6 is also rated as high a 250°F. The strength member, or braid, is offered in hightensile fibers or high-tensile brass-plated steel wire and the jacket is made from a specially formulated material with a high level of UV protection for weather resistance and low coefficient of friction. Sizes range from  3/16€‚ up to 1 in., and all hoses are available in a single, twin, or multiline design.
