Plastic tubing
Clearflo clear plastic tubing is, for the most part, unaffected by most oxidizing and reducing agents. Highly concentrated acids and alkalies can make the tubing less pliable.
The tubing’s smooth surface prevents lodging of bacteria and sediment buildup. It is easily drained and flushed clean with most cleaning and sanitizing agents. Clearflo may be autoclaved at 20-lb steam pressure for 15 min.
The transparent yellow, Fuel & Oil Grade Clearflo extends the working life of PVC tubing in fuel and oil applications — standard PVC hardens over periods of intermittent use.
