The Series KG impact sensor monitors the motion and performance of a machine or device. Featuring single-axis/ bidirectional sensitivity

The Series KG impact sensor monitors the motion and performance of a machine or device. Featuring single-axis/ bidirectional sensitivity, the sensor attaches to the moving part of a machine or device and monitors impact and then relays the measurement to the user. A PLC interprets the signal to warn of erratic operation or shuts down a system to prevent catastrophic failure.

Features of the sensor include a predictive maintenance device that detects change in impact; productivity tripwire that alerts appropriate personnel of a machine crash, indicates when a machine has crashed, and stops production of bad parts; and counts impacts or extreme vibration (<400 Hz), as well as monitors centripetal forces.
