The P1000 variable-speed drive handles variable-torque loads through 500 hp and 1,000 hp in the future. Programming is via a multilanguage LCD display with real-time clock, parameter storage, fan and pump application presets, and a portable USB copy unit.

The unit’s three expansion ports offer additional I/O, feedback, and network communications, including DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus-DP, Profinet, BACnet, and Lonworks. Variable-speed control maximizes energy efficiency, and the drive’s 12 pulse version reduces harmonic demand from the power system.

The P1000 drive comes in 200 to 240-Vac three-phase 50/60-Hz (up to 175-hp), 380 to 480-Vac three-phase 50/60-Hz (up to 500-hp), and 500 to 600-Vac three-phase 50/60-Hz (up to 250-hp) ratings. A flange configuration allows for mounting the drive with its heat sink out the back of any Type 12 enclosure.
