The PVGard molded-case circuit breakers (MCCBs), designed for commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems, are rated up to 600 A at 1,000 Vdc.

The PVGard molded-case circuit breakers (MCCBs), designed for commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems, are rated up to 600 A at 1,000 Vdc. The MCCBs provide load and no-load switching, interruption at low fault current levels, and ambient cycling over a wide temperature range. When the condition that created a fault is identified and repaired, the circuit breaker can be reset and reused.

With their continuous current, the breakers are 100% rated to UL 489 standard, enabling reductions in breaker, conductor, and enclosure sizes.
