Single-cable servomotors

March 25, 2014
Single-cable servomotors
DYNASYN synchronous servomotors are now available in a single-cable version. New wiring technology, for motor-feedback systems with Hiperface DSL, combines the voltage supply and the digital encoder signal on one cable, eliminating the need for an encoder cable. Other advantages of the single-cable wiring technology include mass reduction, space savings, and weight reduction in the form of reduced intrinsic mass, which leads to lower motor ratings and higher energy efficiency.

The fully digital Hiperface DSL motor feedback interface is available in the AMKASYN KE/KW central inverter system in conjunction with the KW-R26 controller card.
