Dynamic Braking

Dynamic Braking
The complete line of CDBR-D dynamic brakes work with braking resistors to dissipate excess energy produced by motors controlled by the company’s Impulse variable-frequency drives. Removing this energy reduces potentially damaging heat in the motors.

Features include short-circuit protection with an independent fault output, diagnostic LEDs, and more available voltage threshold settings. The units are rated to 60°C.
