Remote Access Module Offers Connectivity and Real-Time Communications

The RMA PLUS from Watlow is an enhanced version of the legacy EZ-ZONE RM remote access module. The new version communicates quickly and efficiently and features a USB  port that provides easy connection from a PC without the hassle of a converter and ensures real-time communication from software packages The RMA PLUS offers plug-and-play access to the EZ-ZONE RM family of controllers and works swell with existing systems. It comes with a built-in Ethernet switch, eliminating the need for an additional switch for small systems. It also offers port mirroring for troubleshooting and protects from broadcast and multicast storms. Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU capabilities let users connect to third-party and legacy devices. The device can data log to 16 gigabytes of data standard or upgrade to a user supplied 32 gigabyte SD card. 32GB is the maximum size SD card allowed by design. Configuration and data logs are available as Windows files so they can be easily accessed.
