Screw-in protective vents for lighting, solar, and telecommunication infrastructure applications feature a morerugged, single-body construction that protects against mechanical stress.

The screwin vents maintain constant high airflow in electronic housings and sealed devices, equalizing internal pressure, which, in turn, prevents premature failure of the housing seals by eliminating vacuum caused by pressure build-up. The vent prevents water, dust, dirt and other contaminants from entering the housing and damaging the sensitive electronics.

Manufactured from rugged plastic, the single-body design prevents damage from mechanical impact. Advanced properties of the unit’s membrane let the vent recover quickly after liquid immersion. This chemically inert, UV-resistant membrane withstands operating temperatures ranging from –40 to 125°C, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
