XY stage with linear-motor drive
The KT230-EDLM XY stage is driven by a ironless core linear motor and includes an electromagnetic brake in the event of power loss. The stage is made from a low-distortion aluminum alloy (black anodized) and includes high stiffness, backlash-free, stainless-steel cross roller linear bearings. The stage offers 110 × 110-mm travel, ±3-µm positional accuracy, 0.05-µm repeatability, and maximum load of 150 N.

Driven by a three-phase linear motor, the drive features an integrated temperature sensor as well as Hall-effect limit switches.
