1D, 2D, And 3D Nonlinear Explicit Analyses

Sept. 28, 2006
The Europlexus FEA package lets users perform 1D, 2D, and 3D nonlinear explicit analyses of complex fluid-structure interactions subjected to fast transient dynamic loading such as shocks, impacts, and explosions in enclosures.

Users can also accurately simulate progressive damage of composite structures. The program uses multimaterial and multilayered shell elements (quadrilateral and triangular) and a new elasto-plastic law with orthotropic Hook's matrix. Europlexus runs on Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms.
