Air Cylinders

Feb. 17, 2005
Air cylinders have a special internal design that is said to offer smooth no-drag motion, fast response, and clean breakaway.

A V-seal resists collapse and blow-by, ensuring constant contact with the cylinder barrel. A reversible piston provides dimensional

consistency, so standard cylinders are interchangeable with those having options such as bumpers or reed-switch magnets. They also feature stainlesssteel barrels and piston rods, oil-permeated ballsized rod bushings, roll-formed threads for strength and durability, and unrestricted porting for maximum airflow and fast response. Single and doubleacting models include bore sizes from 0.5 to 2.5 in., in a variety of mounting styles.
