Analog Proximity Sensors

Feb. 8, 2007
AccuProx proximity sensors use inductive technology to detect metal objects up to 25 mm away.

They generate electrical signals that vary proportionately to the position of the metal target within their sensing range. The sensors detect ferrous and non-ferrous metals (i.e., steel, aluminum, copper, etc.) and can be used to assure proper distance, size and thickness for measurements. They are available with both current and voltage outputs on the same sensor. Shielded and unshielded models are available in 12, 18 and 30-mm tubular barrels with a variety of connection options.
