New Product: Bio-Based Polyols

March 6, 2008
Several bio-based polyols have been developed for producing flexible polyurethane foams.

The polyols are 20% seedbased oil, reportedly have performance properties equal to polyols made from petroleum, and process on standard slabstock machines. They are made using a proprietary IMPACT catalyst technology, that’s also a sustainable process — rapidly producing polyols with less waste and less by-products.
