Sears Industrial Sales, Evanston, Ill.

Sears Industrial Sales, Evanston, Ill., offers the Craftsman noncontact infrared thermometer with laser pointer for temperature measurement of moving parts such as running engines, radiator cores, hot spots in electrical panels, and HVAC. The tool features one-button operation, and the built-in laser pointer provides accurate aim. The 6.4-oz IR thermometer takes immediate measurements of a 1-in. diameter from 6 in. away. This narrow target-to-distance ratio reduces the chance of reading the surrounding environment. The tool measures temperatures between 0 and 600°F. Additional features include a backlit LCD to ease reading in low-light situations, C/F switchable readings, and an on/off button to conserve laser-pointer power. Power automatically turns off when button is released.
