Parker, Animatics Enter Alliance

Parker Hannifin Corp.'s Compumotor Division entered into an alliance with Animatics Corp. of Santa Clara, Calif. Parker will have access to Animatics' patented integrated motor-control technology.

Integrated motor control is the basis for Animatics' SmartMotor, an all-in-one integrated system containing a servomotor, amplifier, and controller. Parker plans on building the integrated controls into Parker motors and reselling the products through its own distribution channels.
