IFPE 2000 welcomes electrical and mechanical power transmission exhibitors

March 23, 2000
The International Fluid Power Exposition 2000 runs April 4 to 6 at Chicago's McCormick Place Lakeside Center.

More than 400 exhibitors will showcase power-transmission products, controls, and systems. For the first time in its 14-year history, the show will include electrical and mechanical power transmission exhibitors, as well as those offering hydraulic and pneumatic components.

Another new addition to the IFPE program is Solutions@IFPE, a way for attendees to present design challenges before the show and get feedback from exhibitors at the show. The IFPE Technical Conference consists of half-hour presentations that will focus on design theory and applications. Solutions-in-Action Seminars are half-day sessions that will offer in-depth coverage of specific topics related to electrohydraulics, electropneumatics, and electromechanical power transmission. The Hydraulic Fluid Symposium will address current issues and concerns related to various fluids in a half-day session. Courses required for American Institute of Motion Engineers (AIME) certification exams are also offered.

For more information, visit www.IFPE.com or call the National Fluid Power Association at (414) 7783350.
