New Product: Advanced One-Piece TCA Handle

March 6, 2008
This second-generation AdvancedTCA (ATCA) handle does not require assembly.

The one-piece handle has two screws that attach it to the panel or PCB. The handle alignment pin is part of the handle mold for sturdiness and to boost drop-test survivability. The handle is engaged or disengaged using a unique slide motion that prevents the handle being accidentally tripped or bumped into and broken. The slide-motion switch pops the handle open about 30° and activates a microswitch.
