New Product: Implantable Biomaterials

Feb. 7, 2008
Zeniva PEEK (polyetheretherketone), Proniva SRP (self-reinforced polyphenylene), Veriva PPSU (polyphenylsulfone), and Eviva PSU (polysulfone) are all candidates for implanted medical devices.

Zeniva PEEK is one of the most chemically resistant plastics available, exhibiting strength, stiffness, and toughness. Proniva SRP is reportedly the stiffest and strongest unreinforced thermoplastic available with good chemical resistance. Veriva PPSU is transparent and chemical resistant. Eviva PSU is tough and transparent.
