    PowerShape-e free estimating software can be downloaded from powershape-e.com.

    The program is for firms needing to produce accurate quotes from CAD models. The program reads widely used CAD files including Catia, UG, Pro/E, Ideas, SolidWorks, Inventor, and Solid Edge, and neutral formats such as IGES and STEP. The program helps shops estimate time needed to manufacture short-run prototypes or long production runs on toolmaking applications such as molds for plastics, and casting equipment, press tools, and patterns for metal components.
