V4 of NX, for digital product development, includes hundreds of user-requested enhancements in simulation, knowledge capture, usability, and systems engineering.
NX4 performs advanced flow simulation in a cyclonic vacuum. Green arrows show the inlet point. Red arrows show high-velocity areas and blue ones show low-velocity areas.
For simulations, V4 combines CFD and thermal analysis, and accesses NX Nastran, as well as third-party solvers such as Abaqus and Ansys. And the software extends DesignLogic tools introduced in NX3, which capture engineering knowledge such as formulas, expressions, and equations.
