Enclosed Drive Controller

Jan. 11, 2007
Enclosed drive controllers feature the new Telemecanique brand Altivar 61 or 71 ac drive for process applications.

The drives are available in constant torque/heavy ratings (150% current limit) of 1 to 40 hp at 208 to 230 V and 1 to 450 hp at 460 V using the Altivar 71 ac drive. They also come with variable torque/light duty ratings (110% current limit) of 1 to 50 hp at 208 to 230 V and 1 to 500 hp at 460 V using the Altivar 61 ac drive. The drive controllers are available in Type 1 (general purpose) and Type 12/12K (drip and dustproof) environmental enclosures. All have either prepunched conduit knockouts or removable top and bottom conduit plates, are expandable, and meet International Building Code and ASCE 7 seismic qualification requirements in accordance with the ICC ES AC 156 shaker table testing protocol.
