Calculation package for mechanical parts

Oct. 20, 2005
MITCalc is a multilanguage, technical-calculation package for gears, bearings, springs, bolt connections, belt and chain drives, and other mechanical parts.

MITCalc is linked with Solid Edge V15, letting users input groups of parts, such as a complete belt assembly, at once. The program is associative, meaning subassembly dimensions shift with changes in calculation parameters.

The program provides design of components, answers to technical problems, and engineering calculations without users needing expert knowledge. Calculations are compatible with most 2D and 3D systems including Solid Edge, Solid Works, AutoCAD, and Pro/E.
