Area Vision Sensors

Sept. 28, 2006
The PresencePlus P4 Area vision sensors are designed to inspect the presence and shape of defined areas.

Multiple analysis functions can be performed simulataneously at speeds up to 10,000 ppm. The devices offer 1,200 3 1,024 pixel resolution for high-resolution inspections. Benefits include: Gray Scale and Blob analysis tools to capture and analyze images and render pass-fail judgments; perform live inspections without a PC; remote Teach allows pushbutton inspection changeovers on the line without a PC; Dynamic Thresholding self-adjusts the sensor to compensate for degradation in light sources; and direct connection to all I/O to Ethernet IP and Modbus TCP. Three bicolor LEDs show unit status during setup and operation. The sensor operates on 10 to 30 Vdc.
