New Product: Infrared Panel Heaters

April 10, 2008
The Omegalux QF Series of infrared panel heaters are for use in paint drying, plastic forming, wave soldering, silk screening, laminating, moisture removal, and thermoforming.

The heater’s frame is heat-resistant, heavy-gauge aluminized steel. The units’ radiant surface, constructed with a process that uses bonded hightemperature quartz ceramic cloth, permits a maximum operating temperature of 870°C (1,600°F) with a quick response time. A precision iron/chromium/ aluminum resistance coil provides uniform emission over the entire heating surface. High-temperature insulation prevents heat loss and stainless-steel terminals provide easy power connection.
