Hygienic conveyers

Dec. 8, 2005
Stainless-steel conveyors target hygienic environments.

They sport self-draining surfaces and need no lubrication. A new chain design and built-in rigidity lets the equipment run up to 100 m/min, while maintaining the stability of products transported. A speed control in the drive unit provides soft starts and stops. An optional automatic cleaning system cuts hot-water consumption by 50% and detergent use by 80%, as compared to industry-standard manual hose-down cleaning. Conveyors are fully CE compliant and in accord with the design guidelines of the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group.
