Extreme Seals

Sept. 28, 2006
TriClad seals and gaskets provide leak-free sealing of critical high-temperature connections.

Suited for exhaust manifolds, EGR systems, and turbochargers on heavy-duty diesel engines, the products help meet stringent emissions standards. TriClad has a composite construction using a Thermafoil or Thermabraid high-temperature core jacketed with metallic foil. The compressible, resilient core acts as a spring to ensure sealing as temperature changes, while the conformable metal jacket provides durability and increases life. TriClad engine seals are designed for temperatures exceeding 800°C.
