Self-Aligning LED Spacer Mounts

March 17, 2005
Self-aligning LED mounts for Bi-Lead, T1, and T13/ 4 LEDs feature an internally tapered barrier that guides LEDs through a mount to assure proper alignment on 0.100-in. centers.

Labor and assembly costs are eliminated as well as the potential for crimping or shorting LED leads. The nylonmolded mounts control heights from 0.120 to 0.925 in. with 0.020-in. bosses. Universal black-nylon-molded spacer mounts, in 0.120 to 0.925-in. lengths, accommodate both Tri-Lead and Bi-Lead LEDs. These mounts have the ability to separate and retain component leads to facilitate PCB mounting and accommodate uses for lamps, resistors, transistors, diodes, capacitors, and other components.
