High-Speed Production-Line Printer

The Elektra XE printer has a one-color speed of 3,500 to 3,900 pages/hr.

The Elektra XE printer has a one-color speed of 3,500 to 3,900 pages/hr. It uses an all-mechanical servomotor-driven cam system, and all pad and cup operations can be changed, from the down-stroke speed to the pickup and drop-off pauses, because the dual-cam drive runs the pad shuttle and the ink cups separately. Operator instructions are punched in on a touch-screen PLC so no mechanical adjustments are needed to change the pad stroke. It doesn't use compressed air and weighs 80 lb. The table-mounted model measures 4 X 21 X 22.5 in. The one-color 90-mm ink cup allows for a 3-in.-diameter image. For a two-color image (or two-up printing) a 60-mm cup allows a 2-in. print diameter.
