Steam-Resistant Film

Polyimide films for capacitors, insulation, printed-circuit boards, and aerospace applications reportedly resist steam and alkali solutions better than other polyimides.

The films also resist heat, wear, and radiation; have high tensile strength and modulus; and low flammability and smoke emission.
