Belt-curve conveyor system

Sept. 13, 2007
The KGF-P 2040 belt-curve conveyor is designed for smooth product turns and transfer of small and delicate parts.

The system is constructed of 10-mm T-slotted aluminum. The load-bearing capacity of the system allows for direct mounting of side rails, sensors, and other accessories. The conveyor's 20-mm rolling knife edge permits gentle parts transfer from in-feed to out-feed. Standard belt curve radius is 90˚, with 180˚ available on request. Automatic belt tensioning accommodates normal belt stretch for reduced wear and a fixed installed dimension. A stainless-steel slider bed supports the Transilon belt, which is made of urethane, polyester, or PVC types with smooth woven and velvety surfaces are available; these belt types are antistatic and FDA suitable. Applications for the conveyor include medical, food, package goods, and plastics and electronics part manufacturing.
