LucidShape R1.3 software is for lighting designs and includes a night-drive scene simulator, new bulbs, a projector-system optimization module, lens-optimization module, and interactive lit-appearance capability.

The software's simulator lets automotive designers visualize headlight performance in a night scene. Available scenes include Formula 1 tracks and two and four-lane highways. The simulator has multiple viewpoints including driver's view, bird's-eye view, or user defined. The simulator drives through scenes showing dynamic headlamp luminance on both straight and curving roads.
