Entry-Level Workstations Sport Dual-Core Processors

A low-cost workstation brings high performance to the entry-level market.

The HP xw4400 features an Intel Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme processor and 975X Express chipsets. The workstation has dual-graphics capabilities and an internal USB port for secure software licensing. The HP xw4400 has a starting price below $1,000 and includes Windows 32-bit or x64 and a wide range of graphics, memory, and storage options, including new serial-attached SCSI hard drives. The workstation is Windows Vista capable and will offer Red Hat Enterprise Linux this Fall.
