Versatile Gearheads

Feb. 22, 2007
The PV Series gearbox offers a wide assortment of output face options along with high radial load and output torque.

Output face dimensions match those of major manufacturers as well as standard NEMA dimensions, which gives users an alternative, cost-effective system. A full complement of tapered roller bearings handles high radial loads and output torque. This makes the PV suited for conveyor, production machinery, pharmaceutical and commercial packaging, medical-device manufacturing, automotive and demanding belt-and-pulley applications. A two-piece adapter/sleeve and the easy-to-access pinion clamp simplify mounting. The PV Series is available in six metric/NEMA frame sizes. These range from NEMA 17 to 34 and metric from 40 to 90 mm. Standard ratios are from 3:1 to 100:1.
