High-pin Count Sockets

Sept. 13, 2007
Series 700, 0518, and 0501 RoHS-compliant sockets are specifically designed for high-pin-count or off-centered components for socketing DIPs with nonstandard row-to-row dimensions and elevating displays to bring them up to a viewing window.

The 0501 product line offers several sizes for applications such as wire-wrap or solder tail pins. The Series 700 mounts LCDs at any height from 0.360 to 2.000 in.

Series 0518 collet sockets can be cut to the specific number of pins needed. The sockets come in single or dual rows and can stack side-to-side and end-to-end. Black UL 94-V0 glass-filled 4/6 nylon is used for the socket bodies.
