High-Intensity LEDs

May 11, 2006
High-intensity VLM Series LEDs are capable of undergoing lead-free reflow soldering processes.

The devices let MiniLEDs up to 50 mcd, PLCC-2s up to 240 mcd,, and PLCC-4 up to 1,250 mcd be replaced quickly and easily. The RoHS-compliant devices are compatible with IR reflow, vaporphase, and wave-solder processes. Applications include backlighting in automotive dashboards, car radios and switches; indicators and backlighting in telecommunications systems, audio and video equipment, and office equipment; and in flat backlighting for LCDs, switches, and symbols.
