View FE Models On The Web

Nov. 3, 2005
CAEview publishes interactive displays of finite-element models from Ansys and UGS Master FEM files, which are used in Web-based, global-collaboration systems.

Partial support is provided for models from Nastran bulk data, Abaqus binary-result files, and Technalysis Passage flow-dynamics results. The software also displays geometry from stereolithography files. Users can also add scripts to support proprietary in-house analysis file-formats. They can view analysis results in Web browsers supporting Java, without specially installed software.
