Ball-Rail System

Sept. 14, 2006
A new high-precision ball-rail system reduces rolling, pitching, and yawing deviations in the X, Y, and Z direction, making it suitable for high-end machining, measuring, and scanning devices requiring ultraprecise movement.

Enhancements to the bearing raceway geometry minimize ball pulsations and reduce the influence of guideway bolts on the running smoothness of the runner block. The system comes in preloaded sizes 15 to 45, with or without ball-chain technology. Single rail lengths up to 6 m are available.
