Thermoplastics Shield EMI

April 27, 2006
A range of conductive thermoplastics contains filler for EMI shielding.

Injection-molded parts made with Premier materials need no secondary operations such as machining, plating, painting, or vacuum coating to get EMI protection. The thermoplastics have a shielding effectiveness up to 85 dB (100 MHz to 18 GHz), low weight, and UL94 VO flammability rating.
