Dressing Up CAD Models

Feb. 9, 2006
Total Modeling in PowerSHAPE 6 lets users add logos, textures, and other decorations to CAD models.

The recent release includes a wizard that lets users determine an exact position and orientation for a wrapped decoration, and adjusts the size and aspect ratio to give the required effect. A preview mode illustrates the final effect before starting the full calculation. The software also produces 360% wraps around cones or cylinders.
